Plenty of drumming activity at lower end of South Sea Lane at 9.20am today - two Great Spotted Woodpeckers seen.

Around the corner on the Tetney Trail bridleway, a Chiffchaff was singing in the tall trees. I presume it might have been a bird that has overwintered.

Apart from six or so Shoveler, I saw few duck on the Fitties pools.

There were seven or eight Curlew on one of the mitigation fields near the windfarm
