Had the first House Martin over today also Sparrowhawk over.
The youngsters are being seen with the latest a Goldfinch, last Thursday had three Great Tit taking a bath with one adult bringing food as required, three Blue Tit young uns also three Blackbird waiting for mum to feed them.
This past week had three Greenfinch, five Goldfinch, usual gang of Spuggies, a pair of Wood Pigeon, a pair of Collared Dove with nest in cherry tree, five Feral Pigeon, had the acer crown reduced so can see the ISS coming over much easier, saw it last two nights very easily, even taking a few pics with new phone. Been putting red millet seed out for a change most of the birds love it but sadly no Tree Sparrow (bought it especially for them as i read they particularly like it).

On my road to fitness such as it is had an hour sat in garden today kept as still as poss but only a feral pigeon dared to come with ten feet of me plus a pair of Great Tit both had a drink from water butt lid, and a single Goldfinch must have been saying wish you would go inside so I can feed lol, before going out spotted two Robins, one with flighty left wing that's been here since born, a Dunnock, a Starling, Blackbird, usual spuggies, both Feral and Wood Pigeons, Jackdaws on roof, two gulls calling but see them, two spuggies at back, one pigeon hit window.
Had first butterflies since I come home, will put on section next.
Hoping to be fit enough to go to BB next week.
AH and others kept me informed of local sightings although I did check on here last three weeks there wasn't a great deal of action.

Something strange happened this morning over a garden very close to mine but as it and mine are surrounded by six foot high fencing was left guessing, all of a sudden there was a Crow, three Magpies, twenty-three Jackdaws in a Laburnum tree with eleven Common Gulls flying back and forth just above the tree and a Sparrowhawk soaring way above it, this carried on for ten minutes, none of the birds were seen to land in the gardens surrounding the Laburnum , wondered if a cat was dead in the vicinity or a cat had grabbed hold of one of the species that were playing up.
No sign of any Siskin yet but number slightly up on Chaffinch.
