Well done with the Nightjar John, I've heard them churring but never had eyes on one.
Can't complain though; did get good views of the Collared Pratincole at Frampton yesterday and watched the Savi's Warbler for an hour on Saturday. Two new ones for me.
Pete
Thanks Pete, it was a long wait and strange to be birding in the middle of the night, not done that for many years and when I did it was in Morayshire. That was first time have been looking for Nightjar since I saw two at Crowle Moor about fifteen years ago. Hoping for another go when I recover.
Read your post about the Savi's and your early start, well done. Also the Collared Pratincole well done, have never seen either, would need to swot up what they look like.
