An estimate of foreshore birds as follows
c 1500 dark bellied Brent geese, c520 shelduck, c 1300 oystercatchers, c 800 redshank
on the realignment 
c 1370 teal c 600 wigeon, c200 redshank, 5 snipe, 16 rockpipit, 135 lapwing, 9 black tail godwits,
1 merlin 1 marsh harrier f , 1 brown hen harrier, 1 short eared owl 1 spoonbill . 
18 yellowhammers , c 60 skylark, 19 reed bunting,

A fair compensation for a few sycamores and  hawthorns killed by saltwater  ( quote  destroyed by the Environment Agency )
in a rarity report !!
