After many years of managing the “Latest Sightings” section of the Birdclub website, Chris Grimshaw has stepped down with immediate effect. The Birdclub would like to extend its thanks to Chris for all his hard work. We are now seeking a new volunteer to take on this role. In the meantime, the “Latest Sightings” page will not be updated, and records posted on the Forum will not be forwarded to the county recorder. If you are able to help, please contact info@lincsbirdclub.co.uk.

Hello Andrew,

I have just replied to Chris and others offering my apologies for the rant by Max my alter ego.

I have asked Chris if we can meet halfway between his house and mine so i can have a face to face chat with him to sort out this mess, it's rare I go far these days in my car but will make an exception in this case, I don't want bad feelings between us as I know he does an excellent job despite getting flak off Max every now and then.

If I was younger and didn't have so many health issues I would attempt to volunteer as I did many times for the BTO and the CVS band enjoyed it, but that was ten plus years ago.

Am sure something will be gained from my and Chris's meeting if he agrees to it.

Kind regards
John
