Still showing fairly well on Monday but it did like to disappear in to the willow and surrounding vegetation. Certainly made it difficult to try and photograph

The call went out from an anonymous birder of a Pallas's Warbler in the big willow at the entrance to the car park at Stonebridge. So we raced down, only living 5 minutes away, and got excellent views. We watched it for 10 minutes mixing with 2-3 Goldcrest and then an added bonus of a Black Redstart on the nearby house roof, again showing well for only 5 mins before flying off. The Pallas's showed on and off for a further hour before we left. What treat on a Sunday afternoon!

Regards Pete
