Hawfinch! First ever sighting in Lincs in the 7 years living here. Clear view for some time in the top of an Alder before flying off. Looked for others but only single bird seen.

Sand Martin (first of the year)
2 chiffchaff
1 Cetti’s warbler
Barn owl
3 water rail singing
Small numbers of Linnet and reed bunting

Some impressive wader numbers:

Conservatively 350 black tailed godwit
Conservatively 250 curlew
20 avocet

3 little egret
3 grey heron
