at 0630 as tide approached peak c 4500 roosting  gulls on c 3 km of beach mostly BHG and CM began flying inland
 also c 350 herring and GBB  and c 120 sandwhich terns roosting on shingle ridge near Haven.
did not see osprey bur 2 boats leaving haven out to sea.
8 green sandpipers and a count of c 400 redshank on Paradise Lagoon over recent  days per Peter and Janet Roworth

010824, Osprey remains in haven area , a hobby seen over saltmarsh,
020824,  0545hrs c 2500 gulls on outer foreshore majority bhg , also common, herring ,greater black ,and 1 lesser black back 
Few terns seen , but didn’t walk to haven area where several hundreds sometimes roost, along with hundreds of gulls.

ST nnr 280724 was created by John Walker
The osprey was preening perched on an old sign post c 1 km out fro Rimac in the outer saltmarsh at 0815
a cattle egret flew north over Churchill Lane early  this morning
