Cleethorpes sightings

Oystercatchers expected, I thought most of our autumn/ winter shorebirds would all be much further north by this time of year, but there was a group roosting on the outer beach off Cleethorpes Leisure Centre this evening.

Hard to be sure without a scope but I think most were knot with a few godwits (or the other way round). A ringed plover also flew past.

Closer in, there was a party of starlings and a young pied wagtail was being fed by a parent.
