Early morning around Rimac produced 3 cuckoos (inc. 1 female), large numbers of linnet, whitethroat, sedge & reed warblers, plus singles of grasshopper warbler, lesser whitethroat, chiffchaff, willow warbler and blackcap. Marsh harrier over the reed beds.

wheatear 3 , swift 2, spotted flycatcher 1, turtle dove 1. CL to Rimac John,

and 1 garden warbler 1 whinchat 9 wheatear Rimac to Paradise per P & J Roworth and Matt Blisset .

a single red kite flew low nw over the nnr,

26 04
Brickyard Lane to Rimac 0550 to 0820 hrs.
2 wheatears on foreshore, Dunes, in song, 1 garden warbler , , 3 grasshopper warblers, at least 15 whitethroats , 8 blackcaps, , 7 lesser whitethroats,
6 chiffchaffs, 4 sedge warblers, 16 willow warblers , 1 reed warbler.

CL to BL mid morning and garden late morn early afternoon

in song blackcap 3, lesser whitethroat 2, whitethroat 3, chiffchaff 3, also redstart 1 male , , house martin 2, swallow 3, green sandpiper 2
all over north west and spoonbill 2 over south.
