Possibly, but I think the hints of red might be a trick of light. I'm going more on posture and shape of bill. (Sadly neither dunlin nor redshank will make headlines.)

It seems to have red legs and red base and black tip to its bill. Are you sure it's not just a Redshank Jim?

Single waders seen from afar in silhouette in mid-May are always a challenge - I've got this bird down as a dunlin still lingering in Cleethorpes today when most of the flock have long since flown.
