6th may had about 3 hrs or so around high tide, very quite of note 2 grey partridge 3 yellow hammer 3 sedge warbler blackcap yellow wag pairs of skylarks and linnet all over really greenshank common sand, 2 shoveler gadwell mallard several cormorant not a single bird of prey but buzzard calling very distant 6 or so swallow that about it, terence whalin

couldn't see any  wheatear on the field opposite the barn the road was being worked on pothole repirs so either they moved on overnight or were just flushed away. other things were,
wheatear on the saltmarsh near the haven, white wagtail, 3 yellow wags 2 fem and a male, 6 swallows around the fields etc 2 sedge warbler , blackcap, buzzard , kestrel loads of skylarks,
terence whalin ps was looking for suitable dotterel fields farmer told me because of the wet weather the peas had not yet been planted.
