Why do they need to spray the flies? Is that an Anglian Water initiative?

started covenham met mr robinson who said they were spraying the flies around the res and the birds that were there had gone said he had
6 common sands wheatear reported from the far side,    on to rimac 
15 blackwits, a cracking adult male marsh harrier, 2 wheatear, sparrow hawk male, 2 avocet, curlew, 2 swift numerous low numbers of swallow sand martin and house martin a steady trickle heading north, greenshank various ducks  and 10+ little egret.   then grainthorpe,
8/10 wheatear on rough ground opposite the derelict barn, yellow hammer, 2 buzzard kestrel 4 roe deer 3 hare 2 yellow wags skylarks linnets reed bunts 4 dunlin redshank oystercatchers x4 yours
