Last one seen this year was on the 21st of April in my garden. Five times in the last twelve years this has been atypical date for them to move off
Before Christmas redpoll were present on 17 days with 55 birds counted on those dates
After Christmas redpolls were counted on 93 days. Birds totaled 503

A Lesser Redpoll was feeding on the sunflower hearts in my Market Rasen garden this morning - an uncommon visitor and the first this year.
