Cleethorpes shorebirds

Second half of April and some shorebirds are lingering on Cleethorpes central beach. Just before high tide this afternoon, there were c 100 sandering, c 200 oystercatchers, c 50 turnstone, 2 knot and  c20 bar-tailed godwit, a couple of them coming into breeding plumage.  Bright sunshine but strong, icy wind
