As per another posting I have had unprecedented numbers of Brambling at my feeders this winter with a max of 20. Following storm ‘Kathleen’ last weekend there has been an exodus. Still 3 yesterday and so far a single female today. As we are fairly near neighbours James perhaps we have been the county hotspot this spring?

Bramblings was created by James Wiseman
Following the recent report in the April Newsletter regarding the few sightings of Bramblings this year. I have been seeing increasing numbers daily around the feeders  in my garden in Market Stainton. Since just before Christmas, on most days  there have been as many as 15 with a few Chaffinches in the mix. Most years I only get to see the occasional 3 or 4 before they migrate.
