While covering part of my local patch at East Halton this morning I found a singing male White-spotted Bluethroat in a reed filled ditch close to Winters Pond just to the north of East Halton village.
Initially the bird was only heard,but then showed occasionally,but was typically elusive for most of the time I was on site.It was still present when I left for home at lunch time.
