Buck Beck Cleethorpes

No it’s not me, Jim, it’s a gentleman who lives in Cottesmore who keeps them well topped up. 
I’ve seen no Siskins around this patch either, used to get them in my garden when I lived at New Waltham, but I live in hope.

 

I have seen them Jim, in the link along the beck.. from the road bridge near Meridian park and up to the outflow where the little station is..

Is it you who keeps the Belvoir Road patch  feeders well stocked, Peter? I always hope to see siskins or redpolls there, but so far no joy.

Contrary to reports from other parts of the county, I struggle to find siskins in the Cleethorpes area.

Greenfinch 3. (also 3 birds perch very high in tree for over 30mins, greenfinch lookalikes, but couldn’t see any hint of yellow strip or tail markings)
Blue Tit 1
Robin 2
Mistle Thrush 1   (singing well)
Dunnock 1
Curlew 53. (probably same birds Jim W. reported a few days ago)
