Female Ring Ouzel near Low Farm, Scartho this morning - less than half a mile south of Gooseman's Field.

A male Ring Ouzel on Gooseman's Field, Grimsby (near Scartho) today. A record shot is attached.

I have been visiting this area since 2015 and this is my earliest ever spring record. For reference, the table below contains the earliest spring records for each year.

2015 - 8th April
2016 - 19th April
2017 - 9th April
2018 - 8th April
2019 - N/A (No birding records for 2019)
2020 - N/A (1 reported by HB, 11th April)
2021 - N/A (Not recorded)
2022 - 15th April

2024 - 2nd April
