Shoveler are not often present on the lake in Cleethorpes Country Park, so it was good to see a  pair at noon today.

Sadly this year, there does not seem to be a pair of breeding great crested grebes.

On  the fields between the country park and Tesco, there were c 50 well-camouflaged curlew.
