Went here yesterday and the first thing we saw was a Cattle Egret in the pasture behind the lower car park (the road to which as been recently resurfaced). Not much else of note on a misty windy day - Bitterns booming and 5 Marsh Harriers hunting over the seedbeds, several hundred wigeon and a few other miscellaneous ducks, mostly on the flooded fields rather than viewed from the improved hide overlooking the main lake.
