That was unfortunate.
Just as I was about to admire a great white egret in close-up along the buck beck near The Pear Tree pub in Cleethorpes, a jogger passed me and flushed the bird.
Can't blame him - just one of those things.
Also in the vicinity late morning today were a kingfisher, two herons and four or five little egrets.
