My wife and I did our regular walk around Stainton-le-Vale this morning.  At 1120 at TF175956 we saw a large flock of Fieldfares feeding on the hedges and stubble.  I estimate there were over 450 and about 50 Redwings.  We walked on down the hill towards Hall Farm and saw 8 Red Kites all in the air together at TF169945 - by far the most I've seen at one time and two were about 50 feet above our heads - spectacular!
