Sounds as if the Waxwing went to Jet to fuel up .

Must admit we parked by the Riverside cafe but, according to RBA today, there are greater numbers there today when main road quieter.

Makes you wonder why they stopped with all that traffic. You took your life in to your hands crossing that road

Went to see 5 waxwings returning to trees by Jet petrol station, Bridge Street, Gainsborough today.  Which is where they used to come in early 2000s when I worked round the corner.
Really miss the waxwings that used to come fairly regularly to Lincoln Tentercroft Street and St Mary's Street but don't seem to return since all the developments. Only some of their favourite bushes have gone but obviously enough for them not to be able to feed in that area so good to see the Gainsborough ones coping despite all the traffic.
