Brief stop in car yesterday near Short Ferry (26th) afternoon - there are still at least 59 Whooper Swans on flood just east of the bridge, over 500 lapwings in one flock flying and many more scattered on ground. 300 plus golden plover and thousands of black heads.  Other birders  reported other waders there on RBA including a little stint and grey plover.

Onto Sustrans walking east of Southrey - at least two flocks of fieldfare, one redwing in amongst one nearest village.  Nine goosanders - mainly males over in two groups heading west and four more females swimming that way.   Thousands of starlings over on their way to murmurate east.
