Small raptor Jim, considering how small those sign posts are. Maybe a Merlin?

I saw this one over the marsh/flats near the yacht club this morning..

Highlights mid-morning today included two swallows overhead, a group of at least three (probably more) grey partridges, c 15 golden plover and a raptor which I was unable to identify through binoculars  but may have been  a juvenile kestrel or buzzard..
