Could that be a bird aloft the column of the good ship, Delphine, en route down the Humber from Zeebrugge to Killingholme?

Perhaps a frigate bird? Or, at the very least, an oystercatcher?

No, disappointment, it wasn't  a bird at all, but I'm sure it's worth checking those cargo vessels as they sail down the Humber.

I won't be able to detect a goldcrest, hopping about amid the containers, but sooner or later I'll clock a raptor - perhaps a short-eared owl. 

Surely?
