I find that elevation helps with sea-watching and the high dunes just N of the Yacht Club are ideal in that respect for views over the Humber mouth. There are also benches there which is a bonus.

My first visit to Tetney in over six months today - highlights being:

1 Red-throated Diver
12 Gannet
171 Pink-footed Geese through in 5 skeins 
110 Common Scoter
3 Pintail
2 Marsh Harrier
2 Peregrine 
6 Whimbrel
6 Common Snipe
3 Ruff
5 Greenshank
1 Green Sandpiper
2 Common Sandpiper
9 Arctic Skua
5 Guillemot
1 Kingfisher
1 Yellow Wagtail
2 Cetti’s Warbler
1 Reed Warbler
1 Siskin
Flock of 12 Corn Bunting
