Now you have pointed me in the right direction I do see the said posting, Yes I posted it but they aren't my records. It is almost impossible to trace to post the back unless you are very lucky. I haven't found the records or remember whose sightings they were, so I am not about to waste any more time looking so I have deleted the said genuine record which anybody with an ounce of common sense will know is not Messingham
I am totally fed up with the constant sniping that I receive here, so I will seriously consider whether my time is better used somewhere else and just make this sector moribund too
The post for the 70+ Avocet & 80+ Dunlin at MSQ on the 16th are still there for all to see and obviously not a genuine sighting!! You told us you had deleted it! Unless you have done it while I was writing this.

There is no sniping at you Chris, the frustration was that someone had submitted records that were clearly incorrect and the person who did so had not amended them. I think you do a very good job, one that I cartainly could not do and provide a good service. It is when like this someone submits strange records that questions arise. You are the collector of statistics and not the person who initially supplies them and cannot be held in anyway to blame for errors like this.
Keep up the good work ,you will note that for a long time I have never complained if my MSQ sightings do not go on after you explained to me how it works
Chris,
I do not consider it sniping as you call it, when someone does a job there is always going to be questions asked which is what I did and I was backing up my mate Alan I can't see anything wrong in that. The person who submitted the large number of Avocet/Dunlin sightings in question knows who they are but hasn't got the guts to admit it, maybe they think they will be laughed at but no one is perfect and I certainly aren't!
I could say some more but Alan is happy and that's all that matters.
Continue doing your Latest News Sightings we all appreciate what you do even if we don't always show it.
Regards
John aka Max

Chris,
I find it odd you can't find a report on your own Latest News Sightings, as both Alan, Neil and myself found it easy enough.
You must know who posted the report on Twitter aka X or wherever.
By the way was it yourself who came to MSQ last week and posted the sightings, I know you come now and again.
Until you tell the forum the name of whoever saw the large amount of Avocet and Dunlin , Alan won't be able to rest easy.
