Cleethorpes/ Tetney Lock sightings

Grey plover (10) and knot (200+) were among shorebirds on Cleethorpes outer beach this morning. Many are still in breeding plumage.
 
A wheatear was on path running through saltmarsh.

Noon highlights at Tetney Lock outfall sluice were:
Whimbrel - 14 calling overhead
Green sandpiper - 3
Common sandpiper - 3
Kingfisher - 1
Goosander - 2
Kestrel - 1
Little grebe - 1
Yellow wagtail - c10

There was also a steady passage of swallows
