I went ringing at a regular site near Usselby Plantation north of Market Rasen this morning and caught 16 Blue Tits, 6 Great Tits, 2 Coal Tits, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers and 5 Siskins.  All were juvenile birds except an adult male Siskin with a Cloacal Protuberance - a sign it is in breeding condition.  The four juvenile Siskins had just started their post juvenile moult - a sign they had recently fledged.
