Re recent (Aug 15) post in this thread, the update from Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue is as follows: 


"We’re very pleased to update you all that the Grimsby swift we previously reported on has successfully been rehabilitated by the fantastic volunteer Katy after its ordeal.

"For those that do not remember, this Swift was recorded on CCTV being carried in a litter picker before being dropped behind a fence in Grimsby.

"Fully healed and released, it should already be quite far along on its journey to central Africa (if it hasn’t already arrived)!"

I was so intent on capturing a shot of the mute swans that I failed to notice the other bird. I'm thinking I might claim it as a swift.
