I hoped to see bl-tailed godwits and ruff at Humberston Fitties this morning, but there was a pop concert at nearby Thorpe Park holiday centre, so birds were few and far between.

I stayed for the vocalist's medley of Abba numbers, then headed for Tetney Lock, hoping to catch up with  sandpipers - only to be beaten to it by rally of vintage tractors. So not many birds there either.

However, I did manage to hear a corn bunting singing and to see a few juvenile yellow wagtails
