Covenham on a Sunday afternoon

For some reason, birds seemed to be inconspicuous this afternoon. 
Highlights were a couple of yellow wagtails, a juv pied and two common sandpipers. Last Friday, there were 16 g-c grebes (including six which put on a brief but  very impressive flying display) but today my count was just 9.
