It uttering its characteristic seven-whistle call.

Mid-morning highlights at Tetney Lock outfall sluice mid-morning today included two yellow wagtails, a whimbrel seven-whistling overhead and a green/wood sandpiper. 

Nearby a corn bunting was singing.
