Avocets at Covenham

After a very quiet walk at Donna Nook this morning, with only a flock of around 40 Golden Plover of note, we then went, and failed, to see the reported Slavonian Grebe at Covenham.
However, the Great Northern Diver was showing extremely well in the SE corner, 6 Avocet flew in and a Grey Wagtail was on the concrete bank near the water treatment works. A Raven sat in pines in the plantation with another harassing Crows over the arable fields.
