60 turnstones roosting on south side of rock armour whale’s tail at high tide (noon) today plus a further two on breakwater opposite Scoops ice cream parlour.

Feeding near the construction site of the proposed new lifeboat house were 60 knots (none showing even a hint of red in  plumage).

Oystercatchers were, as ever, plentiful, but curlew now down to single figures ( didn’t precisely count either species).
