Gadwall seem to be doing well in Lincolnshire. Up until a couple of years ago, I seldom saw them on the lake in Cleethorpes country park but this winter there have been up to 20 at a time - always at the end near the dog bathing area.

The Gadwall has been there for the last month, and the first Gadwall I have seen at this site before.

Highlights : 2 Marsh harriers ; Buzzard; pair gadwall ( unusual here) ; treecreeper ; 2 Cettis warbler  ; 2 Mistle thrush  : 2 song thrush
