I have counted as many as 20 Gadwall on the lake recently. I hope they breed!

A single g-c grebe was present this morning along with the courting gadwall. I also head a Cetti's warbler in song - the first I have heard for a while

A male and female Gadwall on the Country Park lake Sunday morning. Male going through courting motions.
only walked one side of lake, several Mallard, 1x Moorhen, 2 Mute Swans. No visible Gt Crested Grebes
Common Buzzard searching
Hedgerows - 6 House Sparrow, 1 Robin, Gt Tit calling
