Apart from the sick Guillemot I saw last year, I have not seen any other evidence along the Cleethorpes/Tetney stretch. In February I am doing the RSPB beached bird survey, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I have another clear survey to match last years effort.

This oystercatcher looked unwell on Cleethorpes Beach yesterday. Here's hoping it is not succumbing to bird flu. Happily, I have not seen any sign of it in any other shorebirds so far this winter - nor in any other birds for that matter.  Anyone else have any idea about its prevalence in Lincolnshire's wild bird population?
