In 4 weeks or so the roost has grown considerably to well over 2,500 birds.  Well worth a look at 4.30pm onwards at Market Rasen Cemetery.!

The number has increased to about 2,000.  As it's near the town centre quite a few people are watching them come into roost.

For the last few days there has been an increasing number of Starlings congregating over the Ridings Estate, Market Rasen.  I went out this evening and at 1620 watched well over 1,000 go to roost in a leylandii in a private garden near the town Cemetery.  In addition a Little Egret was fishing earlier by the Mill Pond behind Market Rasen Church - the first I have seen in the town centre.
