At first, I thought this was a black bin liner - but no.
I've never seen this before.
Other sightings in Cleethorpes this afternoon included three stonechats on buckthorn fringing outer beach.
On the boating lake, the female pochard that appeared in midweek has been joined by a drake - the first two I have seen there this winter.
