Short Ferry flocks

Around 2pm this afternoon, there were at least 700 lapwings and 500 plus golden plover on the field east of Short Ferry bridge - opposite side of road to the chicken sheds. GP in one flock, lapwings scattered. A long time since I've seen such numbers away from the coast/Wash.
