Had a walk from the marina up to the second iron bridge on the Ancholme at Brigg this morning. Nice to see a few Goosanders, 6 females and 2 drakes. A selection of raptors over the grasslands, 5 Buzzards, 4 Kestrels and 1 Sparrowhawk all finding enough to eat judging by the successful kill rates. Lots of Fieldfares and the odd Redwing in the hedges along the path. Also a gathering of Herons just stood in an adjacent field. Not bad for a couple of hours.
