Ten minutes ago (1450) my wife and I were in our Market Rasen garden and heard the familiar sound of Pink footed geese.  There were at least seven large skeins passing over heading south-east.  A conservative estimate would be in excess of 400 individuals, the most I have ever seen away from the coast.
