We did the same walk this morning in beautiful weather:
Common Buzzard   5
Common Gull         97
Chaffinch                 3
Tree Sparrow          4
Linnet                     32
Jackdaw                 12
Rook                        8
Mistle Thrush          1
Blackbird                 1
Stock Dove              2
Wood Pigeon          15
On the lake there were 5 Coot, 7 Mallard and 9 Greylag Geese.

My wife and I had a very pleasant 4 mile circular walk starting at the Church this morning and saw the following (didn't have my binoculars!):
Common Buzzard     3
Linnet                     110
Common Gull          78
Chaffinch 5                5
Tree Sparrow          13 
Yellowhammer          4
Jackdaw                    3
Rook                        14  
Wood Pigeon           22
Long-tailed Tit          13
On the lake there were 14 Coot, 27 Mallard and 1 Little Grebe.
