Thanks Nick.

I nearly always view from the Tetney Lock area or south of it. Whilst there have been some exceptions, I’ve generally had limited results at the Yacht Club end due to the high levels of human and canine disturbance there.

Sightings from a visit to Tetney today:

3 Red-throated Diver (including an adult still in summer plumage)
5 Gannet
5 Dark-bellied Brent Geese
Numerous skeins of Pink-footed Geese through 
6 Common Scoter 
2 Marsh Harrier
3 Common Buzzard
2 Peregrine
2 Kestrel
5 Greenshank
1 Spotted Redshank
1 Green Sandpiper
4 Common Snipe
1 Pomarine Skua
6 Arctic Skua
20 Common Tern
1 Puffin
1 Guillemot
3 distant auk sp. 
2 Kingfisher
2 Grey Wagtail 
1 Stonechat 
1 Redwing
1 Cetti’s Warbler
2 Goldcrest
2 Bullfinch

Also a Lion’s mane jellyfish washed up
