Distant sightings (uncropped record shots) mid-morning today included :
2 teal
3 shelduck
2 dunlin
1 greenshank
1 common snipe
1 common sandpiper
1 green sandpiper
5 redshank
1 kestrel
1 little grebe
c 50 golden plover which settled on a ploughed field.
Several skeins of p-f geese flew overhead but they were not joined by the two juveniles that seem to be happily and healthily settled in a field of an emerging cereal crop since arriving, exhausted, a few days ago.
