Looks like it has some hoodie genes ? to me Jim, maybe it’s come down from Scotland ?

Re this carrion crow at Tetney today, is this just a plumage variation or does the bird have  some hooded crow heritage?
Hoodies used to be regular winter visitors to the Lincolnshire coast but not in recent times.
