Terrific pix, Nick. Always amazes me that most people walk on by without noticing them, even at close range.

There were four common terns resting on Cleethorpes rock armour whale's tail  at high tide this morning.

As the tide receded, a mixed group of c120 dunlin and ringed plovers arrived to feed on the beach near the leisure centre.
